LED (Light emitting diodes) Lighting
LED lighting has come a long way and this is especially true
when it comes to LED light bulbs. There is one important point that
I want to stress though about these. If you have plans of replacing
all your general lighting with LED's you probably won't be pleased.
The reason I say that is they have improved greatly, but they still
can't match most conventional lighting. For accent lighting they can
meet all your needs but to replace a 75 watt halogen bulb in some
recessed cans, you just won't get the light you need.
On a positive note I do believe this will change fairly soon and
when it does I'll change my advice. I just don't want people to
spend good money and not be satisfied. There are still plenty of
places they excel in efficiency.
